This 3 day 2 nights tour is specially organized for history lovers who interesting in “Gonurdepe” the capital of ancient Margiana “The City of Kings”. In the middle of the 3rd millennium BC, there was an ancient country which was located in the north of the present-day Mary city, and in the semidesert zone of the southeastern Karakum Desert. This country was called "Margiana" in ancient Greek sources, and "Margush" in ancient Persian sources, and in Avesta, the book of Zoroastrians, it was called Mouru. Archaeologists have found that the city dates back to 2300-2250 BC and existed for about 600-800 years. The main source of water at that time was the Murgap River. The abundance of food promoted suitable conditions for the development of architecture, fine arts, and various crafts, and ensured that the society reached an unprecedented level of spirituality. Four major structures were erected near the outer walls of the four sides of the Gonur Fortress. They consist of facilities such as the Temple of Fire, the Temple of Sacrifice, the Temple of Water, and the King's Home. The ruler had four nearby palaces built at once, which surprised the archeologists as they'd never seen such a situation before. Therefore the scientists called these facilities "The Palace-Temple Complex". The buildings built by the Gonur builders on the basis of astronomy and geometry show their high talent. Because the exterior walls of those buildings are exactly in the direction of light, it gives a sense as if they used modern compasses. It is astonishing that the structures have straight corners and match their shapes.
