The day begins with arrival at Ashgabat International Airport and a comfortable transfer to the hotel for rest. You will then explore the vibrant atmosphere of the East at Altyn Asyr Bazaar, the country’s largest market, famous for its Turkmen carpets and jewelry. After that, enjoy a city tour of Ashgabat, visiting its main landmarks: Independence Monument, Neutrality Arch, Earthquake Monument, and Ertogrul Gazi Mosque. The day continues with a visit to Gulistan Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the city. In the evening, enjoy dinner followed by a night city tour of Ashgabat, where the city’s white marble architecture and illuminated monuments create a truly impressive atmosphere. The day begins with a relaxing breakfast, followed by free time to unwind or explore at your own pace. Later, you will drive to the Darvaza Gas Crater, famously known as the “Door to Hell,” to witness its spectacular and mesmerizing fiery landscape in the heart of the desert. In the evening, enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner under the open sky, surrounded by the silence of the desert and a breathtaking canopy of stars. Overnight stay in a traditional yurt, offering a unique and authentic nomadic experience.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Ashgabat, enjoying views of the surrounding landscape along the way. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in, followed by a short rest of approximately one hour. Visit Old Nisa, an ancient archaeological site and former residence of the Parthian kings, dating from the 3rd century BC to the 3rd century AD. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers insight into one of the earliest capitals of the Parthian Empire. Continue to a Turkmen art bazaar to explore traditional artworks, paintings, and handicrafts, with an optional opportunity to try on local clothing. Then visit Gypjak Mosque, the largest mosque in Turkmenistan, known for its impressive white marble structure and grand dome, located in the native village of the country’s first president. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ashgabat.

ASHGABAT - KOW ATA – NOKHUR - TURKMENBASHY

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel and departure from Ashgabat. Drive to Kow-Ata Underground Lake, one of Turkmenistan’s unique natural sights. The lake is located inside a cave and is famous for its warm, mineral-rich water, believed to be beneficial for health. Continue the journey to Nokhur Village, a peaceful traditional settlement hidden in a small mountain valley of the Kopet Dag Range. Here, guests can enjoy beautiful mountain views and get a glimpse of local village life. After the visit, continue the long scenic drive toward Turkmenbashi city on the Caspian Sea coast. Upon arrival in Turkmenbashi, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Turkmenbashi.

TURKMENBASHI – YANGYKALA – ASHGABAT

08:30 – Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Yangykala Canyon (165 km / approximately 2 hours). Visit the breathtaking Yangykala Canyon, one of the most impressive natural sights in Turkmenistan, famous for its colorful sandstone cliffs and the unique rock formation known as the “Crocodile’s Mouth.” En route, visit Gozli Ata Shrine, an important pilgrimage site located in a remote desert area. 18:00 – Transfer to Turkmenbashi Airport (169 km / approximately 2 hours 15 minutes). Take the evening flight from Turkmenbashi to Ashgabat (20:30–21:30). Upon arrival in Ashgabat, transfer to the hotel, check-in, and overnight stay.

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Mary (350 km / approx. 3.5 hours). Upon arrival in Mary, visit the Orthodox Church, built by Russians at the end of the 19th century, and the Gurbanguly Hajj Mosque, the main regional mosque. Continue to Old Merv, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important historical centers of the ancient Silk Road. Explore the main monuments of Old Merv, including Gyz Gala and Oglan Gala, the Complex of Askhabs, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, and the Friday Mosque. Overnight at the hotel in Mary city.

MARY – ASHGABAT – EXCURSION

08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel. 08:30 – Check-out and drive back to Ashgabat (350 km / approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, visit the Turkmen Carpet Museum, where guests can learn about the history, traditions, and craftsmanship of the famous Turkmen carpet industry. Continue to an Akhal-Teke horse farm to see the legendary Akhal-Teke horses, the pride of the Turkmen people. In the evening, enjoy a night city tour of Ashgabat, driving along the beautifully illuminated main streets with photo stops near the Alem Ferris Wheel and the Palace of Happiness. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in and overnight at the hotel in Ashgabat.
