DAY 2: BANGKOK CITY TOUR

Today, take the whole day to explore Bangkok – the city of golden temples. The must-see places include famous Wat Po, the Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). You will also ride a boat along the Chao Phraya River, watching the local daily life goes by. On route, stop at Wat Arun, the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok. In the afternoon, continue on the tour with Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue. Return to the hotel and you are free to explore Bangkok by night. Overnight in Bangkok

DAY 3: MAEKLONG RAILWAY MARKET & DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET

Depart for Damnoen Saduak, situated 110km west of Bangkok. Your journey begins with a scenic drive through rice paddies and salt fields, providing a glimpse of the rural life in Thailand. Visit Talad Rom Hoop or Maeklong Railway Market, a unique market that is held on the rail tracks. Experience the hustle and bustle of the market as vendors quickly pack up their goods and clear the tracks for the train’s arrival. Watch as the train passes by and the market swiftly returns to normal, showcasing the locals’ nonchalant attitude towards this daily occurrence. [Train arrival time: 08:30 / 11:00 / 14:30 / 17:30] On the way, we visit a farmhouse to witness the production of sugar from coconut, giving you an insight into the local way of life. The tour continues with a 30-minute long tail trip along a fruit plantation to see Thai houses and the traditional way of life. We arrive at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Be amazed by the boats of various shapes and sizes used by merchants to ferry their goods. You can also hire a small boat to board along the market and shop for local products. Your breakfast today is served at the hotel as usual. Get ready and set out for a day tour to visit some sites of Ayutthaya Historical Park. Being a ruin with many temples which characterize the handicraft architecture, the park was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO. Wat Phu Khao Thong - a massive pagoda towering in the middle of paddy fields. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was the most important temple of Ayutthaya; Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit - the pagoda has one of the biggest Buddha statues in Thailand; Wat Lokaya Sutha - considered a sacred place for pilgrims. Heading back to Bangkok. En route, visit the Royal Summer Palace in Bang Pa-in district. The remainder of the day is on your own discovery. Overnight in Bangkok

Take it easy this morning. You may want to do some shopping or stroll around to discover Bangkok by yourself. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport and catch a short flight to Chiang Mai. Today morning, after the breakfast, embark on a walking tour to the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh temple. Built in Lanna style architecture. Known as “The Monastery of the Lion Buddha’. The next is Wat Phan Tao and followed by Wat Chedi Luang. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take a rickshaw tour. After that, you will take a walk through the central market of Warorot, which is a great spot for travelers wanting to experience the true Thai culture and daily life. In the afternoon, visit the Doi Suthep hill. The mountain's temple is one of the most historically and spiritually significant places in Thailand. Overnight in Chiang Mai
DAY 7: ELEPHANT JUNGLE SANCTUARY (JOIN GROUP)

DAY 7: ELEPHANT JUNGLE SANCTUARY (JOIN GROUP)

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning, and travel around 1.5 hours from Chiang Mai to the Sanctuary location. Breathe clear mountain air as you drive through the beautiful agricultural countryside of Northern Thailand, and get a glimpse of local life outside of the city. When you arrive at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, an English-speaking guide will walk with you to the Sanctuary, and teach you a little about elephants and the local way of life. Get changed into traditional Karen clothing, listen as your guide tells you more about the Sanctuary, grab some bananas and sugar cane for feeding, and you will be ready to meet the elephants! Then you will meet and interact with each of our friendly elephants personally. Learn about elephant’s behavior, and discover the unique and interesting history of each elephant as you touch, play, feed, and photograph them. Once you have met and spent time with each of the elephants, you will enjoy a delicious lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit, before being re-united with your elephant friends. At this point during the day, you will walk alongside the elephants to a nearby river and join them for a bath in the refreshing water. Here, you will have the opportunity to bathe and brush the elephants while they enjoy wading through the water. Next, it will be time for a therapeutic mud spa. Feel free to get muddy as you cover the elephants in a protective layer of mud. Have fun playing with them and watch as they joyfully frolic in the mud spa. When it’s time to say goodbye to the elephants, you can take some final photos with them to preserve this precious memory, then head upstream and wash off your remaining mud, or relax with a swim in the fresh, clean water. Finally, you will change clothes and return to Chiang Mai, experiencing the drive through picturesque rural scenery in the pleasant glow of the afternoon sun. Overnight in Chiang Mai

Today is your last day in Thailand, depend on your flight itinerary you may have some leisure time to enjoy your last moments in Chiang Mai then take a short flight back to Bangkok Airport where you will connect to your international flight home.
